Winters coming....

After viewing those fantastic frost photos, I shall be taking a couple myself when we get a good one. It is suprising how quickly plants recover after having a severe frosting.
Here is my latest poetic (!) offering.
Winter icing
He strikes in the dark and during the day,
he goes where he likes,
you can’t chase him away.
Silent he comes, a thief with a bite,
leaves a picturesque scene,
a wonderful sight.
His murderous intent will soon becomes clear,
when he kills all the plants the gardener holds dear!
He’ll keep coming back with his deadly white shroud, cast over the land like a fallen white cloud.
The hero arrives! It’s the warmth of the sun,
putting an end to the evil ones fun.
But keep a close watch as he’ll soon reappear,
and when he strikes next, you might shed a tear!

Very well written, Richard. You are going to have a busy time, expecting 500 students arriving soon. I hope the frost/ice is minimal around here although I expect you'll have your fair share in your locality.
