My Garden Poem by Me...
A day in the life of my garden begins,
With me getting home,
Going out with more things,
To potter around and tenderly care,
To talk to my plants and to speak to the air,
Positive words like grow; give me bloom,
More everyday until here there is no room,
In my small garden, so I can disperse,
Seeds to my friends and keep some for next year.
Colours with fragrance and style; make me smile,
That in itself is rewardingly fair.

Thank you...I wrote it this morning as I thought of something inspirational to put on this wonderful site. It is actually what I do first as I get home; tend to my garden (back and front) I shall miss doing that as the Winter sets in.

A lovely poem to share with us thank you. Yes I`m begining to dread the thought of winter months when we can`t get in the garden, but its nice to spend time looking online and thru catalogues planning for next year.

Well said Klahanie, we are a garden of talent and creativity. I am so proud to be associated with this site especially when I look at some of the photos and designs you all have put on showing such craftsmanship.
Gardening is my seasonable past time and when it gets cold and dark early and I can't get out there, I spend the evenings making handmade cards and scrapbooking (I am learning to play the guitar - painfully slowly, and knitting about 10 scarves all at once!!!)
Luvly, jubly :)

Very nice poem GM, if you feel like joining in, there's something of a poet's club on here (I use the word poet loosely) if you look at Tetrarch's blog 'Pick Me Up', which I think is her latest blog, you could join in, it's quite a long blog and a lot of the 'comments' are poems of sorts:-))
