After many years of trying to find a damp free place for storing my spring bulbs, seeds, both broken packets and retrieved from plants, I had found that an old chest of drawers in my wooden garage, which I use for storing many things, not so ideal. UNTIL I hit on what I think is a good idea and has proved to be so for this years bulbs and seeds. It is really simple. I am sure you all have bought goods that have the small silica packets to keep moisture levels down well I think you have guessed my idea. Save these up and put them in your storage drawer and boy do they keep the dampness and moisture down. Try it and I am sure you will be as pleased as I am with the results.

Welcome to Goy Grampar, its a very good idea, I discovered it a couple of years back and it works very well, trouble is it doesn`t stop the biddy mice from chomping on my bulbs so they have to be in tins or sealed containers still,lol..
