Spring

Hi all!
My terrace garden is starting to take shape…but oh dear! I have things coming up that I don’t have a clue about! Hubby isn’t much help either….“I planted that but don’t remember what it is”. That’s the answer I get to my “What is it?” questions. As these plants grow, I’ll post pictures so you can possibly advise me on what they may be.
The climatis ‘early sensation’ is doing very well at this point. Lots of new growth showing. I’ve taken delivery on a beautiful Salix Caprea ‘Kilmarnock’ that will provide a lot of visual interest I think. Can anyone advise whether or not I can keep it in a pot? ‘s about 4 ft tall. I don’t have much ground planting area other than along a wooden fence that blocks sunlight in the afternoon..
The troughs I plan to use for alpine plantings have arrived. They were brilliant white….and of course I couldn’t stand that…so I’ve “weathered” them and it’s a big improvement…now I’m about to add the planting medium so it can rest a while before my plants arrive.
I’ve brought in a couple of willow trellis to use for morning glory and sweet peas (one of my favorites) and I have mixed salad leaves coming up in large shallow containers. So I’m on my way….

It ssounds as if you have a lot of work going on in your garden. Good luck with it all. Clematis is one of my favourite garden plants.
