Open Garden

I visited Carol Klein’s garden yesterday, what a beautiful spot, takes a while to find it though. It’s such an interesting garden, with plenty to see, lots of winding paths through the plants. It’s south facing, so it was extremely hot out there, with only the spring garden in shade, and with it touching 28C in the shade I didn’t stay as long as I would have done. The garden is quite a bit smaller than it actually looks on tv, but it was well worth the journey, and I got to meet the lady in person :)

I'm sorry you couldn't come Louise, although it was an extremely hot day and most of the garden was in full sun.
Carol was such a lovely lady with a grea tsense of humour. All in all a brilliant afternoon
