One of my flower borders wasn’t doing well, it needed digging over, thugs taking out, so I decided to attack it while the weather was good, I got a lot more than I bargained for :-(
This was only the start ! Five bags of rubble and a wheel barrow full to overflowing later, I finally managed to clear out most of the border, there was apparently a wall and concrete path buried, fortunately most of it is under grass, that can stay there!!! LOL
The border is now dug over waiting for compost to be added, I can then start to replant it, in the hope my plants will thank me for my trouble.
Finally I have replanted, moved a few things that were getting too big, it now looks like this
I’m hoping things will grow much better now they can get their roots down into the ground. I’ll now need to reseed the grass where there is now a muddy patch LOL

Not fun when you're pulling out half a ton of rock, but a lovely result! Well worth the effort!

That looked like b****y hard work, coming across that much rubble makes a simple job five times longer and harder - it's paid off though because that border looks really good now.
