Old Trailers and Red Impatiens

Near the front door, but down a little, is a bench. My Mother in law is 74 and comes down every weekend. I placed the bench here mainly for her convenience. But it looked so bare sitting there.
This house is really an old trailer that we are fixing up…. Both the landscaping and the trailer! So I wanted nothing too close to the trailer, that couldn’t be moved. The bench was a great solution, once I put the planters on either side of it! Believe it or not there is a solar light buried inside the impatiens; also some mint, which at one time was taller than the impatiens. But the impatiens has taken over completely.
I was so tickled when we found our first praying mantis…it bodes well!

The red Busy Lizzie looks terrific! I also have a red Busy Lizzie on my balcony - though it would look like a poor thing alongside yours! There is a photo or two of it in My Photos.
The Praying Mantis looks as if it knew it was being photographed!

What a super idea and I do love your friendly mantis!! It looks like it is saying "Hiya" No chance of finding any of those over in the cold north east of Scotland but I do keep Indian stick insects....but they are not so handsome!! I wish my impatiens was as bold and beautiful as yours..it's gorgeous.
