strange seasons!!!

Hi everyone
it was a lovely morning a few days ago so I was out doing a wee tidy up in garden. Mother Nature Is sure mixed up though lol
as I still have last roses budding and flowering,chrysanthemums still flowering and now spring bulbs peeping through

Its definitely winter here. Nothing is flowering except the witch hazel and the Coronilla and the Viburnum. Mind you, I did see some pink flowers on an old Hebe today....pity really, it's coming out soon as its old and overgrown, but it does have a few flowers on.

Your garden is looking very summery still. Welcome back, its good to see you back in harness. These pyracantha and Golden Hornet apples are putting on a great show. It was a wonderful growing season even if we never knew what to expect from day to day.

Its a bit of a mad rush to get all that should have been discarded in the autumn, cut back, so that we can enjoy the new growth. I did cut back lupins only to find they are as tall as ever. I leave as much on over the winter as possible, especially if there are seed heads for the birds to enjoy.
