I've come back to this site after an absence of about two years (that shocked me!) because I was sick to death of not being able to get into the garden to keep it tidy, or even to sit. It's all sadly overgrown at the moment and when I saw your post I was so relieved to see that I'm not the only one fed up with all this rain. I'm pretty inspired now and just need a few dry hours to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in.

I've come to the conclusion that any tan we get here is certainly not a "tan" as others know it - but rust!

I have sat outside in my garden ONCE this year, back in May, on a glorious afternoon with the family around. That is now a distant memory and it doesn't look as if it will happen again any time soon. What a waste of a 'summer'!
And I bought new table and chairs last year, too!

We bought a new barbie....used it once I think. :0(

I think everyone would agree with you Jackie, we're all fed up now but what can you do?

You and me both I'm so fed up with it. Been dying to get in the garden, I've got so much to deal with. Blasted rain, surely it has got to stop.

Yes it's dreary isn't it ... not one day without rain :o( Maybe we'll have a nice August ....
