I've seen a couple of commas but no red admirals in my garden this year.

Lovely photo`s Jacque,pleased to say we have a lot of butterflies here this year as well,and I was really chuffed to find some ladybirds today as well as they did seem to have deserted my garden since we removed an over grown conifer,anyway I found some in my Red Hot Pokers so maybe I`m forgiven now........

I keep spotting them (ooohhh, sorry, a pun!) in strange places...I saw another one today in a curled up half-dead leaf!

We saw a Peacock in our garden this week, apart from that its just been cabbage whites. Our (good) next door neighbours have a huge buddliea which attracts butterfly's but they have only had cabbage whites as well. strange about the Red Admiral isn't it?
