Recently retired, so more time for gardening. Keen, but lacking in expertise. Garden is south facing (hurray) has 2 established cherry trees and an interesting herbacious border on the east side. Pretty sure all my problems are to do with condition of soil. Never know what to do and when to improve soil.

Always looking for easy ways of doing things as have had several instances when getting stuck in has resulted in being laid up with a bad back.
