View of my garden and some plants

My garden is beginning to show signs of lack of rain with some plants managing better than others. Watering has to be confined to the pots and baskets and new plants now that all the water butts are empty otherwise the water meter spins round at an alarming rate.

What a lovely garden - is that Hakonechloa macra in the pot next to the fountain in pic 1?

Thank you all for your comments.
You are correct Paul, I don't know the name of this Alstromeria, its about 3' tall, has to be staked and has spread into a large clump but its very reliable, cold winters don't seem to bother it.
Kildermorie, it is Hakonechloa in the pots (there is another one bottom left next to the Hosta). I bought the original plant about 12 years ago and its been divided on many occasions. That side of the patio is in shade for most of the day and it really brightens it. Its my favourite grass because it still looks good after it changes colour in autumn and through winter.

I spot the other JayKaty. I bought one this year as they look so lovely and is good to see it looking good in your garden.

Very attractive Jaykaty and so full, my garden is looking a bit better today but only because its not being burnt to a crisp, it still needs a good drink......

Lovely garden Jaykaty. mine is also suffering from lack of water and the butts have been empty for weeks. Like you I only water the pots and baskets.

I think most gardens will be showing signs this year. I've just finished complaining about my parched lawn (never had one of those before)!
You have a lovely garden - your patio area is very appealing.

Thank you Scottish. My lawn is the same but the upside is I don't have to struggle up steps with the lawnmower to cut it!

Your garden is very pretty, even though it hasn't had any water. I only water the pots too :o)
I like your areal view ...
