The Past is another Country

Today-Wednesday-has been a good day for gardening.
There was no downpour,no wind,no snow.Just bright sunshine,at least here in the great metropolis. Manchester.
I spent a couple of months in hospital, and since returning home just before Christmas have hardly been outside.
Rest,relax.
The sun got me out.
The garden needs some work! Winter has left it’s mark.Soggy ground and seasonal detritus.
I did some tidying, planted a few bulbs and enjoyed some gentle exercise.
Gardening can be great exercise,it’s not just fresh air, benefits go well beyond that.
Here’s hoping for many more sunny days.

Pleased to hear you are well enough to get in the garden Jethro, easy steps and a bit at a time is the best way forward and as you say fresh air and exercise, preferably in the sunshine, sadly lacking here I`m afraid but at least its not raining......
Welcome to Goy.....

Sorry to hear you were unwell and happy that you are feeling better now. I'm pleased you were able to take advantage of the nice day. I hope we get many more of them this spring - we really need it after the winter we've had this year.
