Today in the Garden

So damp and cold today but made myself go out. Planted two new pulmonaria and a comfrey up in the woodland area then made a start on clearing the two big borders on either side of the steps so I was working on a slope (not good for the knees)! Lots of weeds but as it was so damp they came out easily. Loving the young Acer Palmatum Sango-Kaku and the contrast of its lovely red stems against the bright lime green of the Euphorbia behind.

I can sympathise with your knees :(
Lovely photo. You are right, the colours go well with each other.

Great photo, I have the Sango-Kaku and love its great red stems brightening the garden on dull days.

I agree that those pink stems look good against the lime green.
