Off to get wet somewhere else

Off to the Isle of Arran for a week with my Dad. Looking forward to walking up to the Ashdale Falls with the smell of wild garlic and bluebells and the sound of raining dripping on the tree canopy. It’s always nice to come home though and see the plants’ progress while I’m away – the tree peony was already flowering this time last year so fingers crossed it will stay shut while I’m away. And hoping that the white bleeding heart keeps on recovering from the snowstorm in April. May is probably the worst month for a gardener to go on holiday but the best month to avoid midges :-D

Hope you're a lot younger than me! I was in Britain last week and my arthritis suffered from the damp! Enjoy your walks. :o)

Welcome to GoY!
I hope you have a lovely time on Arran, I went there several years ago, it was beautiful. I'm going to Harris in a couple of weeks time.
