Will have a wood for winter?

Today in the afternoon I am going to cut down one of my apricot trees, which died. Standing. I am not happy to do that, as each tree is part of my small personal history. But the winter forecast is not good, so at least there will be some wood in the fireplace. And more space for the new trees.

i think it will not, dwyllis. I have got information that at the moment mayor of the village did not approve cutting of my tree in my garden and did not agree with taking branches from my garden. The reason is unknown. But that is liberty we have. Now i will find illegal way how t do it. As this usually works without bribe.:)

Good grief! If the tree is dead it will have to come out surely, or else it could rot and become a hazard? tut tut Mr Mayor!

Mr Mayor and his company. This world is ran by cowards. They show their shoulders - and as they are cowards, they usually do it in a group to solitary woman or to an ill and old man. They have power and I am lonely woman, "why does she need the garden? Do all we can to make her to get rid of that garden. Our kids can built their houses there."
Oh, yeah, Karen :)) And I am paying taxes to these b......s.

I had it on my allotment. The new Steward was going round bullying women on their own, because he knew they are vulnerable. One even left over it. I swore at him, told him to get off my plot, and stay off it. Said nothing to the men, because he knew he would get a poke on the nose if he did.
This year he was taken ill on holiday. So I laughed.
Is now a changed man.
If you wait long enough they all come a cropper in the end.

Hi Diane, I do not understand what steward did you mean on your allotment and who should stay out of your plot. Honestly, I didn t understand this comment until you are retired spy. Lol. Could you explain it?

That's a shame about your apricot tree ..... I had one many many years ago (39 to be exact, when my first child was born). The apricots were delicious. But at least it's sad demise will keep you warm in the chilly months.
