Whatever, both are ancient peonies and in our garden they grow at least 60 years.

Boules de Neige has yellow eyes, not just red edges in the center, while Festiva Maxima doesn´t have yellow marks and just sprinkles of crimson red. I think I have Festiva Maxima, but this year I noticed it has yellow marks on some flowers. That is why that question mark in the headline.
