found more of these b…pests on my lily plants,have tried various treatments,apparently the best way to get rid of them is to keep checking your plants and squishing them between your fingers!not for the squeamish among you then!. they do ruin the appearance of my precious lilies though,so they get what they deserve!!..im going to my relatives in cirencester today for a few days,will be taking some photos of their gardens,some very keen gardeners up there,so hopefully i will get some good photos.also there is an arboretum nearby,if i get chance i will visit.

I grew lillies for the first time this year and looked out for beetles but found none, I`ve heard the larvae are horrible things...:o(

i hate the pesky mini beast they devestated my lilys last year but i think iv solved my problem with them thise year i told my grandaughters the fairys use them to pull there carts so they go out and collect them up in tissues for me the fairys r happy and my lilies r untouched
