I live with my wife Jean, our german shepherd Gemma, 3 cats and at times up to 9 badgers and 5 foxes.
We have a gerden about a third of an acre which is mainly shrubbery and lawns with some flower beds.
Jean looks after the plant side of the garden while I do all the maintenance ie repair walls, look after the pond and any carpentry work that needs doing.
When we moved to dover in 1976 the top part of the garden was about the size of a standard allotment plot and we split it into three beds and grew all sorts of veg.
Now the three boys have left home we have converted the veg patch into the shrubbery part of the garden.
