to get plants,you should have seen his car today,like a moveable greenhouse,we went to cattrick boot fair and i got tons of plants,4 hosta,s and fully grown too,2 quid each,another sambuca 1 pound eh,montana reubens a pound and a tray of 20 seedlings of i dont know what,i will find out for you all,one is a daisy and lupins yet again(got to stop the lupin thing)for 4 pound,and then got my first roses for the scented garden for mum all climbers……

the zephirine smells out of this world and i got it for mum as her name is irene and its nearly her name,oh and a hanging basket of petunias and lots of pinks for scent and a white lavender called edelweiss white.
right this is it and im stopping the plant buying now as ive too much,i have to get on with the house and the back garden,i was going to take pics but the teens broken my camera,see you all later chris

way to go!! Having just moved south from the part of the world I know how mad one can get on the Boot Fair...or any for that matter.
Just wished my OH would be into Boot Fairs!! but I shall train him...lol

You must be feeling pleased with yourself, I would be. Were the roses named/tagged? only I have 'High Hopes' and it's a beautiful deep red.! A word of caution about plants from 'other' peoples gardens, keep a close look-out for pernicious weeds that arrive in the soil. Fully grown Hostas £2 each now that's a bargain!

heron,i will wait till it gets some flowers,but it doesnt matter as long as its perfumed,ive got the label and it says pink,prob the wrong label on it,and thanks i will check the pots for weeds,got enough as it is lol
