I have a very small garden behind our house where I used to grow both flowers and veg. However my neighbour lets me grow veg in his garden and use his greenhouse which has freed up my patch for growing fruit bushes etc. I do like growing flowers and I have a small garden at the front of the house and a shady patch outside the kitchen window where I grow them. But my heart is in growing vegetables. I have introduced younger people to gardening particularly vegetable gardening and was very happy when just recently one of them started to help organize school gardening at her children's primary school. By the way I have just recently retired so have more time to devote to the garden.
