Polytunnel.

This is going to be our main winter polytunnel. We decided on the site on the 21 st December where the sun lay the most. we dug off the top scraw, which was the hard part of the work.
It cost around 30 euros, the door needs making still, but my OH just needs time to get wood to make the frame.
it gets very warm inside as soon as the sun comes out, we built another and that has lasted around 12 years and survived being moved. I hope to sow a lot of my seeds in here as I then don’t have to pot them up as much and watering is cut drastically.

Thank you ! I too am not that healthy so I thhink having gardening is a great outlet. What is OA ?
I have never grown broccoli in one, ah, food for thought !! There are great for growing all kinds of stuff. I have the water barrel just alongside and that is filled from another water barrel which in turn is filled with run off from the house roof.

Very nice, this is what I wanted, but couldn't get my family to make it for me. I am partially handicapped with OA, so I needed help with it. That is why I bought the Greentent. much easier and cheaper too!
Right now I have 3 types of lettuces, spinach, broccoli, kale, chard and carrots growing in it, and will start my peppers and basil seeds in it for planting into raised beds on my patio.
