I'm far from an experienced gardener having taken it up only a few years ago. We landscaped our garden so that it would be easier to manage and since then I have reclaimed parts all over the place! Tomatoes have been poor for the last few years, the west coast of Scotland doesn't have enough warmth to ripen them unfortunately, even in a plastic house bought for just that purpose. Think I won't bother this year. It isn't a big garden but it looks nice all year round. We have a lovely amalanchier in flower at the moment which was bought because it wouldn't grow too big and it hasn't. Unfortunately the severe winter we just had killed off three of my little conifirs so we have to find something to replace them soon.
