In Homebird's blog "Yellows In My Garden"

In Homebirds’s blog “Yellows In My Garden” there was a little discussion about Zebra Grass aka Zebinus. I had mentioned that I had moved the grass from a part sun location to a full sun location and it increased its height an additional four feet. I also mentioned that it is my custom to place a pot of Mandavilla vine in front of it so it could climb up the grass and flower within it. Here are some pictures taken today. I was able to do this because the Hurricane running up our east coast tracked out further to the east. Sadly, the Carolina States are receiving about ten inches of rain as I write this.
Well fall is here and here are some photos of Mums and Ornamental peppers I purchased recently…
Being fall and all that, I threw in a photo of a gourd too.

It's very effective Loosestrife...I have grown climbers through many shrubs but never grasses.........food for thought!
