Hi my name is Lucinda and I own a gallery on the beautiful NT site of Claydon House. My garden attracts a lot of attention from the visitors ,who often stop and take pictures. the best time to see it is in June when everything is reaching it's zenith.
Claydon House has beautiful gardens also, including a restored walled Victorian garden. This year the Florence Nightingale Centenary garden is open to the public.
My cottage garden used to be occupied by the former head gardener on the estate, so there are many unusual plants and shrubs. When I arrived almost 10 years ago the place was flattened on one side and the other was left to the weeds. But with loving care and blood sweat and tears, I have restored it to its former glory,( minus the roses which although are very lovely, reward you with scratches and pain which I cannot deal with!! ) lol.
