The Aeoniums love the hot weather!

This heatwave and baking sunshine has brought the best colour out of my Aeonium “Zwartkop” that I have ever had.
By the way, the original of this plant was a piece broken of a large plant, outside a bar in Menorca 30 years ago.
Is that still not allowed by my critics in another thread?
The third pic. is of Aeonium arboreum.

These plants are growing all over The Scilly Isles. As plentiful as weeds! I did enjoy seeing them. Glad they are doing well for you this year.

These are lovely plants. I've had several over the years.

"the original ... was a piece broken of a large plant, outside a bar in Menorca 30 years ago". A likely tale! ;o)
It's a stunner! I'm getting a bit of a 'pash' for succulents as I start thinking about my new little yard. Broke my rule last weekend and bought a strawberry pot (not to mention a few others) on offer in a garden centre - but the pots were too good to be ue at half price.
