Sounds like a great idea. Has someone got time to organise it?

sounds good to me

It sounds like a lovely idea Lyd, but it would need someone to coordinate the project, someone to design the calendar and sponsorship for funds to print and circulate it for sale. Is there anyone on G.O.Y with links to a design and publishing company and does anyone know of an organisation that would provide funds for the project, and it also would need to be properly marketed as well to ensure there are sufficient profits to donate to a chosen charity.

I think it's a good idea Lyd. I'd buy one, or maybe two - they'd make a good present for someone.

Great idea Lyd, as a company this (and greetings cards) is something we have considered doing. So all I can say is we have this on our list of things to consider.

The calendar is a super idea - lots of work, we all agree.

If someone does make a design, it's worth remembering that British postal charges have changed for various shapes sent through the mail.

So the size which is A4 folded in half is better for posting than long thin calendars which cost more to send snail-mail and often get damaged in transit.

I suggested this change to the Wire Fox Terrier Association which subsequently altered its long narrow calendars to the A4 folded type resulting in great success and reduced postage costs.

this is a really good idea lyd, but it would take someone with good organization skills to bring it into fruition.
