Flaming June?

Well its been too long since I popped in here. Been sneaking quick look at the posts and lovely photos posted on here, always a treat to see what lovely stuff is happening in everyone’s gardens.
Weather is a strange one this year, lots of rain and wind and then spurts of lovely hot sunny days, but sadly these are far too few. May was a washout and June is not starting with much improvement. Tomorrow we are promised winds of up to 70mph and rain, which will mean all my lovely ox-eyed daisies, foxgloves, campanulas etc will get flattened!
Looking on the bright side window boxes and baskets all filling out nicely and my salads and potatoes all doing well, my potatoes have flowers coming on so yay fresh spuds to pick including some blue ones..exciting, never grown spuds before!

Also excited to have a flower on my hottentot fig, depending on the severity of the winter we either lose the lot or keep some and this year one of surviving bits has a flower.

Maezy the weather is atrocious at the moment, we honestly don`t know whether we are coming or going, my plants last week were gasping and now they are swimming and according to the forcast they will be for a lot longer.
I also like the wellies all planted and hope all your garden crops do well for you..

Glad you like the wellies They were my favourite wellies (I go through them like wildfire) so I thought I'd carry on using them instead of dumping them and they are cheerful aren't they!
Thanks all for nice comments and lets hope the weather improves so we can all enjoy the summer!
