I live in West Wales walking distance from the beach.
When I came here about 12 years ago, my garden was almost bare just a few snap dragons and a few bushes - now it's like a small jungle consisting of Budleahs, Pampass and Bamboo with a few Fuscia bushes in between.
My garden only allows me to grow what it wants lols.
It's very windy especially since both my neighbours have removed their hedges so now I am trying to grow in containers primarily for the bees.
I hope to plant a native hedgerow ( a very small one ) this autumn to encourage my birds back which left when the hedges went :( I conscider myself as a tidy-upper not a gardener. One reason is I have 5 lop bunnies slugs and millions of woodlice in the back garden fortunately my front garden has loads of pink ivy geranium which I am encouraging to grow everywhere even up the Budleah :)
