i like my book but that one didnt come from it ~ perhaps it should have done then i would have been more certain.
they look like little fairy houses but i didnt have a word for that!
perhaps elfin would be better than ethereal?

Thanks for comments I think if somebody photoshopped them you could put a fairy sitting on one. Ethereal! Good word!

good to hear you are ok. i cant even imagine how bad it must be for those in the floods and then i heard snakes were in the water ~ i dont think it could get any worse.

Thats good to hear, but those poor people, it was on the news for a week over here, live pictures and everything.

Yes it has been bad. We have family in Innisfail area and they have been flooded in but thankfully the house was OK. I was on holiday in October and drove Cooktown to Brisbane on the Bruce Hwy which is what went under and mauch still is. I can picture the devastation in places I stayed on holiday. The people all seem to be putting a positive slant on it when interviewed - don't think I'd cope as well as they are trying to do.

Lovely picture, and they look so delicate.glad you escaped the horrendous weather conditions Maggie. Our daughter and her friend were at Airlie beach ,this time 2 years ago,and were driving back down to Brisbane, when they were caught up in a tropical storm on the Highway.A tree came down and just missed their little Fiat car, they had hired..and Hailstones as big as golf balls, bombarding them. They then ran out of petrol, luckily just yards from a petrol station, where 2 kind men pushed them on to the forecourt..! I was so glad they were ok..and that they didn't txt me till they safely arrived at their next destination on the way back,...How lucky were they?

Wow - that sounds frightening Bloomer. Glad it turned out OK and you probably didn't need to be worrying and not being able to help so lucky they didn't tell you until it was all over! :-) Hope they got a lottery ticket after such a lucky escape! Phew!
