He's great Marjorie, very handsome and I think near the pond as well...

By the pond definitely but facing the direction where you get the best view from where you most often see it. I really like him standing in the water.

I do as well but was wondering about how wise it would be actually standing it in the water, wondering what its made of, if its metal it wouldn't be good for it or the pond....

That did cross my mind actually - perhaps it could stand on a plinth in the water.

It is made of metal and I only tried it in the pond to see what it would look like and this I think shows it off best but I think my oh will have to construct a platform for it to stand on. Just waiting for the other one to arrive.
