Cucumber Growing

I purchased a cucumber plant that was labelled as a Female Femsport which should have dark green cucumbers.
But no the cucumbers on my plant are lemon coloured, round and prickly.
I have done some research and I have come to the conclusion that it is a Lemon Cucumber plant excellent for salads and pickling.
Has anybody else grown this variety?
I have attached a photo.

Never come across this cucumber Marjorie but I do like the look of it. What does it taste like? I'd love to give it a try next year.

Hello Waddy
They are not yet ready to eat so I will let you know when they get big enough to pick .
If they are like my tomatoes this year they will take a few more weeks to be ready !!

I only have one plant growing this year as my originals were eaten by something, this one is a mystery as its so slow its unbelievable, I am feeding it as usual, have done nothing different to any other year, it has four cucs on it at the moment but they just aren't getting any bigger, the first few aborted after a couple of weeks. I guess next year will be time for a change of variety for me as well so also waiting for your verdict Marjorie....

This happened to me last year, the labels get moved about, this year I went to a large garden centre and went for some racks of plants that had just come in, this worked OK for cucumber and tomatoes.
