Hello Gg
Attached are my attempts at growing three standard fuchsias. What do I need to do now? Or are they a failure? Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for the advice I will do that tomorrow .
I think I am aiming for a half standard.

Good thinking - quicker to do and easier to look after!

They look bursting with health! Next thing is to remove all the side branches but leave the leaves growing direct onto the main stem. Doesn't look as though Carmel Blue needs anything done just now. If you were very hard hearted you would also remove the flower buds to encourage the strength to go into growing taller. Suppose you just left one if that's too hard. Are you aiming for a full, a half or a quarter standard?
The main thing at this stage is to avoid the formation of any side branches.
