Thank you Marjorie - that was a big surprise! We spent a lot of the day fussing with our land line that wasn't working
but OH took me out for lunch which was a nice change!
And we ended up buying a new phone the following day.

Yes it can be very stressful Sue. We could hear our callers but they couldn't hear us so we couldn't explain - cost us a bit on out Pay as You Go phones ringing them all back !
