It’s the official beginning of Spring today.
We woke up to no snow,at long last it has disappeared and the sun has been shining . I am going out in the garden soon to do some planting.
I bought these bulbs for a bargain price of just £2.00 & one free, in total 7 pots. Not bad!!!
This is my favourite plant which was given to me by one of the gardeners for free. It is Chionodoxa Blue Giant.

Bulbs flowering in a pot really brighten up our gardens after a slow start to Spring. You bought some lovely ones and strangely enough I have just put on a photo of a pink Chiondoxa - aren't they pretty?

Hello Hywel today is really like spring. The birds are singing and the sun is shining and warm - hooray.
I have also planted my bulbs.
We are in the process of altering the layout of the garden so it will be a lot easier to manage. When it is complete I will put some photos on.

Just love a bargain and you cannot go wrong at that price Marjorie, its gorgeous here today, sunshine with warmth, my window has opened on the first g'house, must make hay whilst the sun shines, three new Heathers planted and succulents uncovered in bottom g'house, fingers xx they don't have to be wrapped up again....

What an incredible bargain! Well done you. The Chinodoxas are lovely - what an unusually deep blue! They are one of my spring favourites. I have pink ones out now but they are always well ahead of the blue ones for some reason.

Daffodils seem to overcome even inches of snow and I must say they always cheer me up. Your pots were a bargain and I’m sure will give years of pleasure.
( That’s an unusual dwarf narcissus, isn’t it?)
