I do hope you find her, our neighbour has lost her cat too and we were out looking last night, hers is called Liquorice.

O No i hate when My Cats do that i hope Smokey will be home Soon Mavis u must be @ your wits end with worry :( x

maybe put up some posters, asking people to look in their sheds and greenhouses.... perhaps Smokey got shut in....?

Terratoonie as she dissapeared on the fourth of november like you I thought that as well ,plus as it was bonfire night I hoped she may have been shut in with someone elses cat but no sign of her on the sixthWe all know that if it is possible she will come home to us .She is a big softy scared of her own shadow (and Christmas trees)it was her birthday on the fifth hence her name.We are all still waiting and hoping although my youngest has decided that she has found a new family rather than think the worst he is fourteen. I do hope you find Smokey have you put posters up and let the local vets know? My neighbours cat was missing for 3 weeks - it was locked in a shed, after seeing the poster they checked their shed found the cat and rang them. So keep trying and the very best of luck in finding Smokey.

Have you been able to give Smokey's information to local radio, and all the local shops ? There are internet sites which are able to put word out about lost dogs in specific areas, so there may be something similar for lost cats ?
I realise how worried you are... and thinking of your 14 year old...xxx

Do you have pet insurance I think mine helps toward the cost of finding them?

I rang my local pdsa two private vets ,and a local cat and dog shelter they all took mine and smokeys details so if she turns up they will give me a ring.All the neigbours have looked in their gardens and sheds for her. I even rang the cleansing department in case the worse happens they will also give me a ring I would put posters up but in this area word of mouth works better.Normally its me that helps others that have lost their cats as every one knows the cats all come into my garden as I dont mind them . We are all still hoping that she comes home.

Hope smokey is ok

Its now 18 Nov and still no Smokie I am still looking for her still checking the gardens and asking if she has been seen but no luck.The lads have just about given up hope but I have not.

One of my dogs went walk about and was gone for 10 days. The worry was distracting. And then I found that she was living with a family 3km away. That was the difficult part - trying to convince the kids that I wanted my dog back. Hope you track smokey down.

Regarding Smokey I have just read an interesting artcle in my sunday paper Its about a family in Cumnock Ayrshire who had five cats but have had them all poisoned resulting in the death of two,the two others were ill but recovered but the fifth cat hasnt been seen since.The poison is lethal to humans its a banned substance called carbofuran.It makes you think

So sorry to hear about Smokey - I know I would be worried sick if one of my cats went missing. Cats are resilient, she might surprise you yet. Here's hoping.
