Checking after the wind!

I’ve just finished work and have been outside checking the plants after the strong winds of the past 36 hours or so, and all seems intact – amazingly!
Still not sure whether to nip off bad leaves or leave them as they are; I’ll think about it over dinner later on.

I may be able to give you some advice on that!
1. Invest in a cheap tripod (if you're not a serious photographer).
2. Fix your camera to it (most cameras, even the little point-and-shoot type have a tripod screw underneath).
3. Set your camera up the way you want it for the shot,i.e. set your exposure and compose your shot.
4. Set the camera on timer mode (usually about 10 seconds)
5. Press the button and wait until it's taken the image.
6. Hey presto! Job's a good 'un!

Job's a good 'un indeed! Can I set the timer & then make a run for it out of the weather?! ;0)

The wind was so bad here yesterday Merfyn that I went out to take photos of the swaying trees & bobbing glads but of course it didn't really show up on camera so I just got blown over for nothing! Bit blustery wasn't it?!!
