Hi Everyone

We’ve been hard at it today and finishing off the wall rendering was no 1 on the priority list.

It went well and between frequent refreshment breaks I took some pics of the garden in progress which "hopefully will be completed this year.

I hope you’ve all had a super day too wherever or whatever you’ve been doing!

Enjoy the pics, Mick.

great pics micky and the garden is looking amazing, love the raised beds and rendering, it shows the plants off really well, loving the little steps and the view is to die for ;o)) well done both of you

Thank you Sandra, it was hard work but when you see results it's worth it!

I can't wait for hot summer days, cream tea's, being happy together, having the pets around and of course all the lovely colours of the plants and maybe some visits from fellow goy'ers who'll be more than welcome!

My goodness, Mick - you've worked so hard on it all! It has a 'Mediterranean' feel to it, somehow. ;-))) Are you tiling the whole wall?

I'm pleased to see the table and chairs - make sure there are cushions on them when I come to tea, won't you!

Smashing pics Micky, a lot of work going on there but well worth it...

A lot of hard work's been going on there and it looks good !
Your views are lovely too, you appear to be high up .... on a hillside ?

Thank You Barbara

The tiles are just an accent and a protection for the wall against damp soil too, it is going Cornish cream colour, we got a job lot dead cheap when focus closed down in brislington!

The cushions are safe in the loft and will be coming down soon in time for your visit! don't worry.

Thank you Lincs lass.

It's the morning after now and i'm afraid my back is in the shape of the letter S.

like you say it is all worth it, I just want to get to the point of just tootling around actually doing gardening, tending plants etc.

How are you? your profile pic is a chilly one, is that to remind us of our bad winter! hope you have a smashing weekend in the nice weather!

Thank you Louise

Hard work but very satisfying when you inspect it afterwards.

We live in the cam valley west of Bath near Radstock, top of the hill with a wicked view of the mendips, unfortunately I think we get all of our villages share of the south westerleys when they come! I think you would agree that view is worth it though!

You've changed your profile pic from your little cat to an echinacea! One of my favourite plants and flowers, i've got Dahlia bishop of landaff with some v/b's.

Lol, i change the avatar fairly regularly .... just to alleviate any boredom from looking at the same ol' face ;-)

24 Apr, 2010

Maybe I could do that too Louise!

I might put one of the cats up there now actually

24 Apr, 2010

Good idea, let's see your new 'face' ;-)

24 Apr, 2010

There, it is my face, i'm the little one with my bigger brother, it was taken in Brixham many moons ago.

24 Apr, 2010

Ah, righty-o, i'll know who to look out for later ;-)

24 Apr, 2010

I hope you not looking for the one on the bottom far left, ha ha!

That is brilliant, and a credit to you...Are those your boots in the 2nd picture, and were you still wearing them? Lol.Hope you hadn't keeled over doing all that building,or were you just having a tea break? Whatever you were doing,I reckon, you deserved a break :o)))

24 Apr, 2010

Hi Bloomer

Yes they are my boots! I was just in a jokey mood thinking I'm sat here with no foot rest, that would have been perfect!

It was hard work but the aches and pains the next day are worth it for the end results!

Thank you for your comment.

Regards, Mick
