Me and the girls, drove for 4 hours before the crack of dawn this morning, to come and help cousin Lulu sort her pond out. Unfortunatly it was frozen solid when we got here and still was at 7pm. So we have abandoned the clearing of the pond for tonight and adopted a bottle of wine or two instead! Will have annother look tomorrow, with hangover I am sure. The ‘silly Slug’ is successfuly pushing me off the sofa at the moment.

It's 2am and we have just finished yakking, would try pond tomorrow but think there will be still too much ice.
But never mind am sure I will be dragged out of bed by young children of Mo who want to carry on making their mosaics! Definately time for bed!

Pond still frozen pity, but lucky in a way because a rather big Enflish setter sat on the ice! She could have been a very smelly Setter had she fallen in!

Wine slipped down too easily me thinks! Sore head this morning. Unfortunately the pond was still frozen and a bit on the chilly side. We all had a lovely weekend tho' must do it again soon, thanks Lulu.
Looking forward to being able to get on our allotment (if it ever dries out - so you can walk across it without loosing your boots that is), as this will be our 1st proper year at being an allotmenter!

Thx for coming over Mo, Dad keeps ringing to see if we sorted out the pond!! minus 2 tonight, don't think it's time to do it!! It's also 2am (couldn't sleep) so much for an early night!
