have just nipped in for 5 mins to say…bloomin ladybirds…everywhere already
anybody know if these hibernate?
anyway will dissapear again am putting lil girls house up!!!!

I haven't seen a ladybird for several years - about 12 or 13 yrs I should think :o((

Yes they do hibernate Mookins. I saw hundreds of them too. Lovely, but I wonder if they'll be around when we really need them. I've noticed other years they're plentiful then disappear.

thanks peeps it explains a lot then...they are popping out everywhere here
cant ever remember not seeing them so that would be weird :o(
would send them out but they are all my lil girls best friends!!! and they are all called Betsy!!!!

Like you ,iv also potted around the garden today in the sun shine. And i have seen lots of ladybirds sunning themselves. Good for the garden though. Snake

We have quite a few out and about today and finding greenfly too..

yes all wakening now jen,, ive had a few and quite alot of bumble bees but they seem very weery, strange

have seen quite a few presumably queen bees...phew... looking for new places to start i suppose which is great news....NOOOO not greenfly already! :o(
