Cytisus 'Windlesham Ruby' - HELP

HELP
I have a lovely Cytisus ‘Windlesham Ruby’ and this has loads of pea pod things on now after flowering.
Do i remove these?
When do i trim back the plant ?
May also move the plant and place in a pot,
Is this ok to do now ?

I have this reminder in my garden calendar for this plant:
After flowering, varieties of Cytisus scoparius and C. x praecox can be pruned to keep them neat and tidy. If left untrimmed for many years, they will become bare and ugly at the base and produce fewer flowers. Cut back flowered shoots to a sideshoot that hasn’t produced flowers or to a plump bud. Aim to remove at least half of the previous season’s growth. Do not cut back into old wood because cytisus are reluctant to re-sprout. Old and neglected shrubs do not respond to severe pruning and so are best replaced.

Hi Mrs Melon - I like this one, only I know nothing about them, apart from the birds love the seed pods, and that they pop in the sunshine at least the yellow ones do. I would leave the seed pods on but I am not a person to give advice on these.
