Finally the ‘Dig In’ seeds have arrived.
Repotted the 9 Tomatoe plants yesterday into their finally size pot, think I will have plenty for myself and friends and family…I have found good homes for the spare 4 i have too.
Youngest daughter Abby (14) wants to grow a Pumpkin, so we bought the seed yesterday, and I will go up to the greenhouse later today to sew that and the ‘Dig In’ Butternut Squash. I have no room for the Pumpkin, so I will be growing that on top of one of my compost bins…
The onions have started to swell nicely, the leaves have started to bend towards the floor…Is that normal?
The garlic has started to get a little yellow on the leaves..
Is that normal?
I planted the onions and garlic in November, so should they be ready in the June /July?
We will have to wait and see, oh it is so exciting to see everything coming together.
Hope you all have a great weekend..I am working this weekend but will have Tuesday and Wednesday to catch up on any gardening jobs.

i've planted a butternut squash from the dig in seeds too, few people on here didn't get any so we are among the lucky ones! I think onion leaves do bend towards the ground, but someone on here will say otherwise who knows more than me about veg.
