Lunchtime Blog

A big thank you to Floribunda and Richardpeeej, for the idea that was to become today’s lunch (and very tasty it was too !). The only slim link this blog has to gardening, is that it wouldn’t have happened had I not been on this site and next time I will be adding chopped Chives fresh from the garden !!

Glad you enjoyed your lunch Muddy, looks lovely...all from a bit of light hearted banter too...Must admit ,we did digress a lot from the original blog Lol...

My favourite breakfast is two slices of french toast with four rashers of smoky bacon and some maple syrup drizzled over it! No chives! :))

Ah true, Bloomer and Muddy, very light-hearted banter, but lots of fun too, and if you catch my last post on Somerset blog, you will see that it still is kind of tenuously connected, at a real stretchhhhhhhhhh!
Ks~that sounds tasty!! Yum,yum!
Thanks for great blog Muddy, and playing along with us!! :~))x

Glad I gave you an idea for a lunchtime snack Muddy -it looks delicious and no doubt your daughter liked it too. I had forgotten all about it until a few weeks ago when I had some for a snack myself. It is nice if you mix the egg with some grated cheese too before cooking :-)

9 Jun, 2010

Thanks Bloomer, I'd noticed ! But I have to own up to being an adopted Northerner (Cockney by birth), having moved here in 1988. Where I come from we're told it's 'Grim up north' - RUBBISH ! - it's a ploy to keep us out !!!
Well I'm here now and here I stay 'til they cart me off in a box ... lol :-))

9 Jun, 2010

Some nice food ideas here, can I add my own, peanut butter and marmite sandwiches or the same mixture on hot crumpets. Scrumptious. I think it was Mae West who wanted her grapes peeled.
