Yes this happened to me i learnt the hard way too, to back up my files! sorry to hear its happened to you they may still be on there somewhere!!

Oh dear...it's happened to me as well, and I now back my files up regularly after losing most of lasts year's garden pictures...it's a hard lesson to learn (I cried for weeks!!). Do hope you find them again MushyB...like Seaburngirl says, they may manage to get them off your hard drive...

Oh mushybanna ....technology's wonderful until it goes wrong...I so hope you can retrieve your pics. Should still be on your hard drive.

My hubby says you should deffo be able to get them back...he did the other day when his went down for good.

How terrible. I hope you can do something to retrieve your photos.

Im no expert so thought it was a disarster but thanks to you i have some hope now.
I'll have to ask my friendly computer expert who's on holiday till the end of next week so hopefully he will be able to retrieve them . If not down to the nearest shop !!
I wanted one off those buffalo external hard drives for my birthday & the wife said she'd get it for me but still waiting !! .
Having to get on at work while boss not around .More fun than working .:o))

Hey I'm an expert...hubby just bought new printer & was turning the air blue cos he couldn't get it to work...so I suggested he switch it on!!! Tee hee!
