Cats and a fireplace

After a cold-front passed through our area yesterday the temperatures dropped into the upper 30’s for the overnight low. By 6:00 pm it was chilly so I did a fire in the fireplace tonight to help the central heating and air system work a little less:

The coals were hot and warmed the living room very well.
Of course, my cats liked it also and gathered on the couch to totally “crash and burn”..

Little “Smokey Boy” had his head buried in his front legs and was “out for the 10 count”..

Little baby “Izzy” became a curled up ball of happy fur..

Big ‘ol “Trouble” followed Izzy’s plan and was total road-kill:

What “happy campers”! That’s ’ma “critters”!

Aw N2 they are so lovely your kitters. They know the hottest seats in the house for sure. Love 'em. :o)

It is quite funny! All of the cats can be "bouncing off the walls" and when "daddy" makes a fire, all of them shift into "pure flop mode". Funny critters! :-)
