Crasher cats!

All three of my babies decided tonight, that the best place in the house was on the couch, about 10 feet from the fireplace, where “daddy” had built a rather warm fire:
Little “Izzy” was total “road-kill” on the top of the sofa and “Trouble” & “Smokey-boy” were “spread eagle” also..
These priceless creatures enrich my life SO much and always take the “edge” off of a hard day at work. They make a house a “home”.. :-)

I cannot imagine life without our cats ,dogs,fish,even my feathered friends in the garden, it can be annoying sometimes, especially at pet feeding time, when in their opinion I`m not preparing their dinner quickly enough but they are very good at love and cuddles and keeping me company when on my own.......

I think I will come back as a cat! Even though my cat drives me mad at times I wouldn't do without her, lovely picture. :-)

Cats definitely make a house a home, even though they also make a mess. My house would be so empty without them.

Lulu33, you are right!
The sofa is average size, but "Trouble", the large cat IS rather big. {chuckle} He's about 8 years old and weighs in at around 15 lbs.
He's been raised from a tiny kitten that my daughter found and he's been a part of our household longer than any of the other cats..

<--- chuckles @ Lincslass!
Yes, "feeding time" is very entertaining! :-)
Even my "wild critters" in the gardens will often remind me that the food supply is getting low. I have 3 bird baths and 8 bird feeders that I maintain and the "Cardinal couple" always reminds me when the sunflower seed supply is getting a little low. The male will often land on the porch
area where I have a ton of container plants and just look at the guy sitting there.. {chuckle}
Over time he has learned that when he lands and sits close to me that I will "reload" all of the feeder stations for his mate within a few minutes. :-)
Gotta love it!

We had a 30 pound cat at work a few months ago, a big orange tabby. And my friend Alison has a 27-pounder, a beautiful long-haired white male.

The biggest cat in the country lives in Georgia - he weighs 42 pounds. There was an article in the newspaper about him a few years back.
