How to control cats!

Cats can often get on quite a “tear”, running about the house and attacking things, right?
Here is the ultimate weapon to subdue unwanted “cat activity” and settle them down a little.. It’s called “great fire in the fireplace” :
Apparently, the photons produced by carbon consumption releases a “relaxing agent” that is absorbed directly into the cat’s brain resulting in a more docile state as illustrated below:

Is that a mouse down on the floor - wake up cats!

It does look a bit like a mouse, but the cats are far too relaxed and snoozing away.
Cute cats.

Cat heaven! Lovely. Do you think a gas fire would have the same effect, my 2 are pretty chilled at the moment.

Yes Elo15e & Alextb, it is one of the many "fake mice" that we have all over the house. That particular "mouse" makes a "squeak" every time that it is pawed or is bit.
Sometimes I will give it a light dusting of cat-nip and the evening's entertainment will be non-stop! :-))))
Dawnsaunt, a gas fire should work almost as well! {chuckle}
