Garlic plant experiment!

This was way too cool!
My wife was cleaning out the fridge last weekend and found 3 garlic bulbs that had “gone bad” because they had some small green shooters growing out of them.
I got curious and examined the bulbs. I noticed that the bulbs had multiple sections that looked like separate “sub-bulbs”. I broke the bulbs up into those “sub bulbs” and planted all of them into my old wine barrel, that has a super rich mix of organic potting soil and other amendments. I’ve never tried to grow Garlic, so I’m not sure about breaking up the bulbs, and planting them, but a week later, the “bublets” are all growing!
Here’s a photo:
Each one of those “sub bulbs” is growing a new plant!
What a cool plant! I can’t wait to see what they will do!
