We have a new baby!

I got off early from work today and the wife and I drove down to the animal shelter where we found “Misty” and adopted her brother:
Meet “Smokey”! He’s a beautiful gray haired male that came from the same litter that “Misty” came from..
He’s a pretty cool little guy and just loves “ear rubs”!
It will be interesting when the two of them are re-united! :-)

What a beauty... let us know how he and Misty get on when they meet up. The breeder separated our two wee girls from their mum before we took all three on and there were some moments whilst they got used to each other again. She maintained it had to be done to stop them nursing, she also kept the kittens in a room were the TV was on day and night to get them used to noise... I think they were more than glad to come home and have peace and quiet!
Hope you Mrs n2o and the two cats have a wonderful and happy life together.

Think Smoey is beautiful but then am biased as I love that colour. Have been promising myself a Russian Blue for years.

Beautiful colour - I'm a 'dog person' as you know, but I can admire cats, can't I!! I'm glad they're back together. :-)

Good to see you back Ian...

I'd like to hear whether they recognise each other or not, suppose it depends how long they've been apart. If they do, they'll be great together. Lovely animal

When we got Cally Girl (mum) and Pip we did not at first take Merry really only wanting two cats but I told the breeder if she isn't sold within seven days let me know and we will take her. She didn't sell, we did take her and though they were not sure to start with all three rapidly became inseparable. Both kittens snuggling up to mum and trying to nurse...

I was thinking about him the other day. I hope he and Misty have a great reunion, and it will be lovely for them to have company.
Hope Misty's okay, and you, too.
Best wishes, and healing thoughts.
