Fun with cameras!

Today I was experimenting with the idea of coupling my digital camera next to the eyepiece of my high-end binoculars and trying to take a photo of some birds at great distances. The subject of the test was a male Cardinal in the woods next door and this photo was shot from about 200 feet:
WOW! This might be a great tool to capture closeup photos of some of the wild birds that we see around here! With 3 bird-baths and 8 feeders in our backyard, we often see some of the more rare ones from time to time, such as the “Painted Bunting Male” that I photographed last summer:
This will be fun to play with! :-))))))N2O

Those birds are lovely, the Painted Bunting has wonderful colouring.
